What's an odour?

Bio Treat 2000, a new bacteria and enzyme fat removal treatment, has cleaned up at a water treatment company’s sewage works. The unique formula was put on trial at the plant, which serves 60,000 people, in a bid to reduce fat deposits and build-up that cause frequent pump failures and blockages.
 Within three days of applying the first small dose of the treatment, fat levels were visibly reduced within the inlet channel with further positive effects throughout the system noticed in the following days.
 The success of Bio Treat 2000 has meant that since it was first applied, the sewage works has not reported any fat-related breakdowns or problems.
 In addition, the treatment has been found to have a positive effect on reducing hydrogen sulphide (H2S) levels that cause corrosion and odours.
 Bio Treat 2000 is different to other treatments as bacteria and enzymes are added simultaneously. This alleviates the need for the enzymes to stimulate bacterial growth, which can only happen when conditions are favourable.
